Following the Official Atlus West social media account teasing an worldwide announcement for Persona 5: The Phantom X on May 12, 2025, an account for the English version of the game appeared and noted news about the spin-off’s global version will come alongside the already-confirmed Japanese showcase on May 15, 2025. This will be an English version of the showcase, which means all of the details are identical to ones revealed when Atlus announced the Japanese presentation on May 12, 2025. Members of the development team, like Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda, Development Director and Main Scenario Planner Yusuke Nitta, Development Producer Jun Matsunaga, and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai, will all be present to discuss the game. Two of the Japanese voice actresses playing characters in the game, Chika Anzai (YUI) and Kaede Hondo (Motoha Arai), will also appear. While the English stream title only said, “first announcement,” the Japanese one specifically noted it will bring up the release date for it.

We already saw other teases regarding the Persona 5 free-to-play spin-off in 2025. In March 2025, it was confirmed the PC version of the game would head to Steam.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is readily available on mobile devices and Windows PC in China, and we will learn more about the Japanese and English global versions’ debut on May 15, 2025.
