Pedro Pascal is expressing his stance as one of the biggest transgender rights allies on Instagram.

On Feb. 21, 2025, the actor utilized the social media platform to share a pro-trans quote that said, “A world without trans people has never existed and never will.”

The comment section revealed a divided audience, with some fans backing the actor while others declared they were “unfollowing” him due to his post.

Pascal reinforced his position through a pinned comment on the post.

“I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist,” he wrote.

Pascal’s sister, Lux Pascal, disclosed her transgender identity during a 2021 conversation with the Chilean publication Ya magazine.

“For everyone in my family, my transition has been something very natural. Almost something they were waiting to happen,” she expressed.

Lux Pascal acknowledged her brother Pedro’s unwavering support throughout her journey.

“He has been an important part of this. He is also an artist and has been a guide. He was one of the first to give me the things that formed my identity,” she revealed.

During an exchange with Esquire, Pedro Pascal briefly discussed his sister. He mentioned he “wouldn’t want to speak on her behalf,” but emphasized his unconditional support.

“She is and has always been one of the most powerful people and personalities I’ve ever known,” he stated. “My protective side is lethal, but I need her more than she needs me.”
