Peacock's New Hit Sitcom 'The Paper' Might Not Be Based on a True Story, but This Part Is Very Real

Peacock's new sitcom The Paper is a success, as it brilliantly expands the world of The Office while forging its own unique path. The premise sees Enervate, a large paper product supplier (who bought out Dunder Mifflin in 2019) attempting to revive a dying newspaper, the Toledo Truth Teller. To say it's a challenge for new editor Ned Sampson (Domhnall Gleeson) to bring the Truth Teller back to journalistic prominence is an understatement.
