A new teaser from Max reveals the surprising return of a major villain in Peacemaker Season 2, hinting at a mysterious twist involving their identity. The character appears in a redesigned blue-and-white suit, replacing the familiar red-and-white look from the first season.

White Dragon appears to return in Peacemaker Season 2, as seen in new footage released by Max. The character, previously portrayed by Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith, wears a noticeably different suit this time.

Instead of the red-and-white armor from Season 1, the updated design is blue and white. The new suit appears in the teaser video at the 67-second mark and again in multiple promotional images.

The identity of the person behind the helmet remains unconfirmed. Auggie Smith, the original White Dragon, was killed in the first season. Despite this, Robert Patrick has appeared in promotional content for Season 2, suggesting he may still be involved. The season also explores the possibility of multiversal variants or flashbacks. Another theory suggests that a follower of Auggie may have assumed the mantle.

James Gunn posted on X (formerly Twitter), “Can’t wait for you guys to see what’s in store. Season 2 of #Peacemaker premieres August 21 on @StreamOnMax.” The show will feature returning cast members including John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, and Steve Agee.

A user on X stated, “In ‘Peacemaker’ Season 1, White Dragon was rocking that red and white suit. But in Season 2, they switched it up to blue and white.” The updated costume design removes elements from the original version, including the white helmet associated with white supremacist iconography. This marks a notable shift in the character’s visual representation.

Behind-the-scenes footage showed the new suit in several angles, including scenes of White Dragon walking past a police car and standing in front of a burning vehicle. The season takes place within the restructured DCU and remains under the creative direction of James Gunn.
