Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 6 Soundtrack Revealed Before Release

James Gunn has unveiled the official soundtrack for Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 6. Posting on social media, he linked a Spotify playlist and encouraged viewers to check it out ahead of the episode, “Ignorance is Chris,” which premieres September 25, 2025. Consequently, fans have been buzzing online, sharing their excitement for the new songs and speculating about the upcoming episode.

The DC Studios co-CEO has officially shared the soundtrack for Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 6, giving fans a sneak peek at the music ahead of the next episode.

Sharing the update on X (formerly Twitter), James Gunn wrote, “New songs added to the playlist to prepare you for Peacemaker Episode 6 this Thursday on @hbomax.” He also included a link to the Spotify playlist with the note, “Listen now.”

The tracks featured for Episode 6 include: 

“Little Drops of Heaven” by Pretty Maids “Oh Lord” by Foxy Shazam  “Forever & One (Neverland)” by Helloween  “Presence of Mind” by Dynazty

The episode, titled “Ignorance is Chris,” is scheduled to release on Thursday, September 26, at 6 PM PT/9 PM ET on HBO Max.

Peacemaker follows Christopher Smith, portrayed by John Cena, whose violent antics and dark adventures continue this season. After surviving a near-fatal mission with the Suicide Squad, he now faces new challenges with a secret government team. 

At the end of Season 2 Episode 5, Chris chooses to leave his familiar world behind, venturing into an alternate dimension. In doing so, he separates from Harcourt, Adebayo, and his teammates, setting out to pursue his ambitions as a superhero.

All eight episodes of Peacemaker Season 2 were penned by Gunn, who also directed three episodes, including the season premiere. Returning cast members include Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick. Meanwhile, newcomers Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows join the ensemble.
