Paris Hilton fans will be ‘sliving’ their best lives this summer as the 00s legend is set to perform at Brighton Pride.
She’s joining the one and only Diana Ross on Sunday at Pride in the Park in the weekend’s second icon slot. That’s hot.
The festival previously announced Raye would be headlining on Saturday, August 1, with Jessie J and Self Esteem performing.
Saturday’s icon is the queen of drag herself, RuPaul, who will be performing a DJ set for the first time ever in Pride in the Park’s 35-year history.
In the announcement post, the festival called the Drag Race creator ‘a queer pioneer’ and ‘a true original’.
Paris, 45, famously released Stars Are Blind in 2006, which cracked the Billboard top 20 and will undoubtedly feature as part of her Brighton set.
She followed up her single with her eponymous debut album, which spawned Nothing in This World and number one hit Turn It Up.
After almost two decades away from the studio, she was encouraged to release her second album in 2024, after singing with Sia and Miley Cyrus.
Infinite Icon was ‘just for the gays’ according to Paris, and leaned more electronic than her original music, inspired by her years as a DJ.
She marked her return to music with the single I’m Free, a catchy electronic dance beat with vocals from Rina Sawayama.
The Simple Life legend was in full it girl mode for the music video, rocking a leather black bikini with her signature blonde hair blowing in the wind.
She sings, ‘Boss b***h energy / I’m the centerpiece (Centerpiece) / I don’t have enemies / But they all wanna be me, I swear / It doesn’t bother me, I don’t really care.’
Last year’s Brighton Pride saw Sister Sledge take the inaugural icon slot alongside Erasure’s Andy Bell.
The headliners were the Sugababes, hot off their Glastonbury takeover, and the unforgettable Mariah Carey.
This year’s full lineup is yet to be revealed, but with Diana Ross and Raye headlining, tickets are already flying.
The festival’s managing director, Paul Kemp, said: ‘We are beyond thrilled to welcome the phenomenal Raye and the iconic Ms. Ross as our Pride on the Park 2026 headliners.
‘Having first graced our stage in 2018, RAYE’S journey over the past nine years has been nothing short of extraordinary. Welcoming the incomparable Diana Ross as our Sunday headliner, as a UK live show exclusive, is a dream come true.
‘Her legendary voice and catalogue of hits will be an unforgettable moment in Brighton Pride history.’
Tickets for this year’s Brighton Pride are on sale now, starting at £75 for one day to £154 for the full weekend, with VIP tickets also on sale.
