Pace of property price rises eased in July, dropping below 5pc in dearest neighbourhoods

Property prices rose in the twelve months to July this year, up 7.5pc compared to the same time a year ago, but the pace of increases moderated. In the 12 months to the end of June prices were up 7.9pc.
