‘One Battle After Another’s Regina Hall Is Always Looking for New Battles to Fight

Hall plays a woman named Deandra, who's part of a group of revolutionaries that must band together after 16 years to rescue a member's daughter. She brings a refreshingly stable energy to the film, acting as a necessary foil to the rest of the eccentric cast. “My character has a lot of heart," Hall says. "Deandra is sincere, loyal, thoughtful, and mindful. She's not flashy. It was a much quieter, more internal character.”
