Shohei Ohtani followed up his MVP season with another iconic moment in his native Japan.

The superstar slugger drilled a home run off a 99 m.p.h. pitch from Nate Pearson as the Dodgers beat the Cubs 6-3 on Wednesday to sweep the two-game Tokyo Series.

Tommy Edman and Kike Hernandez also homered for the Dodgers.

Japanese rookie Roki Sasaki pitched three innings for the Dodgers in his MLB debut, allowing one run on one hit and five walks with three strikeouts in three innings. Justin Steele started for the Cubs, allowing five runs on five hits with one walk and five strikeouts.
