Jennifer Aniston recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on September 11. The actress humorously put the host on the line by asking him to audition and test his acting skills in a mock audition for a fake scene that could feature in a potential fifth season of her hit Apple TV+ series, The Morning Show. Aniston asked the host to play a sexier version of Steve Carell as the show's new weatherman, Jeremiah Cloudson-Storm. The situation surprised everyone when the host leaned in to kiss Jennifer Aniston, and she humorously stopped the interaction.
Stephen Colbert tries to kiss the Friends actress?
In the viral video, Jennifer called Stephen Colbert a brilliant actor and teased him, "We're doing some preliminary casting for this fifth season that we hope happens. " Jennifer said, "So I just thought, 'Why not?' You're going to be free next year. Starting in June, you're available? So I thought maybe you could audition for season five of The Morning Show! Isn't that sort of perfect?"
After reading the scripts, Stephen jokingly kept leaning in to kiss Aniston, while she remained hesitant to stop him. She stopped the actor laughingly and said, "That's not in the script. You gotta stick to the script."

Stephen Colbert auditioned for Friends?
Colbert told Jennifer that he once auditioned for a very small role in Friends, and he doesn't even remember the part anymore, to which Jennifer was surprised that he never got the part and said, "How on earth did you not get on Friends?" Aniston asked. To which Colbert replied, "I am not that good."
