Editor's Note: The following contains spoilers for Gen V Season 2, Episode 4In a way, this week's episode of Gen V is weirdly wholesome, despite its gruesome ending. For the first time in Season 2, the main group of heroes is finally collaborating again, as Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair), Jordan Li (London Thor/Derek Luh), and Emma Meyer (Lizze Broadway) include Cate Dunlap (Maddie Phillips) in their investigation into Cipher (Hamish Linklater), the new Godolkin University Dean. They each have their own reason to oppose him, but, given how Season 1 ends, it's natural that Marie, Jordan, and Emma are not only closer, but also distrustful of Cate, so that's a major step towards everyone becoming friends again, right?
