Serbia’s path at EuroBasket 2025 just got trickier as injury concerns continue to pile up ahead of their 1/8 Finals clash with Finland. The team already suffered a tough blow with Bogdan Bogdanovic sidelined early in the tournament due to a hamstring injury, and Tristan Vukcevic missing time with a muscular issue. Now Aleksa Avramovic has joined the list of worries.

Avramovic injured his heel late in the first half against Turkey and did not return, leaving Serbia shorthanded in what many considered the best game of the tournament so far. Initial scans thankfully ruled out a serious injury, but his availability for the Finland matchup remains uncertain, according to Mozzart Sport.

Avramovic has been a steady contributor, averaging 9 points, 3.2 assists, and 2 rebounds in nearly 18 minutes per game. Serbia will now lean even more heavily on Nikola Jokic to carry them past Finland and keep their EuroBasket hopes alive.

(Hang tight as we update this….)
