This comes six months after Kidman and Urban’s divorce was finalized. This is the first Father’s Day since the couple split. She also paid tribute to her father, with whom she had a close bond.

Nicole Kidman took the opportunity of Father’s Day to pay tribute to her ex-husband, Keith Urban. The pair finalized their divorce six months ago.

In an Instagram story for Father’s Day, Kidman posted a photo of herself with her father, along with another photo of her two daughters with their father, Keith Urban. The split-screen photos were black-and-white. She wrote in the post, “Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers,” acknowledging Urban’s contribution to their children.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, who were married for nearly two decades, share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15. After being widely considered one of Hollywood’s most stable couples, they announced their split in 2025.

In the Father’s Day post, Kidman also paid tribute to Dr. Antony Kidman, her father, with whom she shared a close bond. She has frequently spoken about how close she was to both her parents. “Life is, whew. It’s definitely a journey. And it hits you as you get older,” she previously said about losing her parents to GQ, “If you’re in it and not numbing yourself to it. And I’m in it. Fully in it.”

Nicole Kidman also shares two kids with Hollywood veteran Tom Cruise, Bella, 33, and Connor, 31. However, she did not mention Cruise in the Father’s Day post.

The 59-year-old remains active in the industry amid her personal turmoil. She will soon be seen in Practical Magic 2 and The Young People.
