Just three days earlier, she had debuted a short bob at the Met Gala. The ACM Awards took place at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Kidman walked the red carpet with husband Keith Urban, who received the ACM Triple Crown Award.

At the Met Gala on May 5, Kidman wore a cropped hairstyle with brunette roots and golden strands. She paired the look with a vintage-inspired black Balenciaga gown. Designer Demna drew inspiration from a 1952 Harper’s Bazaar London gown. The look featured silk satin bow belts at the waist and hips (via Vogue).

Kidman did not comment on her latest hair change, but her Met Gala hairstylist shared that the short style aligned with the gala’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme (via E! Online). For the ACM Awards, Kidman wore a black leather halter top and matching pants with pointed flats, coordinating with Urban’s black velvet blazer and vest.

Kidman’s style changes aren’t new. In February, she attended the Critics Choice Awards in a tan Saint Laurent suit with an oversized jacket, striped shirt, and silk tie. At the 2024 Met Gala, she wore a custom Balenciaga gown with hand-frayed organza and feather-like embroidery. Urban matched in a black Balenciaga tuxedo with satin accents.

Their daughter, Sunday Rose, debuted on the runway on October 1, 2024, at Miu Miu’s spring 2025 show in Paris. She wore a sleeveless white dress, black knee socks, and open-toe shoes. Her blonde hair was center-parted and tucked behind her ears.
