NGHTMRE Is Giving Away Three Full-Ride Scholarships to ICON Collective

1 week ago 1

As NGHTMRE moves into seasoned veteran status, he's using his platform to support the headliners of the future.

ICON Collective is a California-based electronic music school responsible for a number of the genre's biggest stars, including Kayzo, SLANDER, Sullivan King, Pauline Herr and the late i_o, among others. A decade after graduating and launching his namesake, NGHTMRE is partnering with his alma mater to give away three full-ride scholarships via their "Hero's Journey" program.

The "Hero's Journey" scholarship will give three promising producers the chance to attend the school in-person for free on its campus in Burbank. To enter, prospective students must submit a two-minute video that describes their passion, vision, goals and what makes them stand out amongst their peers.

ICON is accepting submissions from now until December 6th, 2024. The applications will be reviewed throughout the month and the trio of winners will be announced on January 13th, 2025. Applicants must be over 17 years old, and former attendees of the school are ineligible.
