NFL Trade Deadline: Odds Trey Hendrickson, Jaylen Waddle and Others are Dealt

We are just over 24 hours away from the NFL trade deadline, which means phones around the league are working overtime. Contenders are looking to fill holes in their roster, and some of the bottom teams in the league are looking to add future draft capital in exchange for their few good players.

Based on all the rumors swirling, this could end up being a pretty chaotic deadline. There are a ton of big names who could be dealt in the next 24 hours, so today, I’m giving you nine names I’m hearing, some of their potential suitors, and the percent chance I think they’ll be dealt.

Trey Hendrickson, DE, Cincinnati Bengals

The biggest domino that could fall at the trade deadline is Trey Hendrickson. The Cincinnati Bengals’ star pass rusher is officially available for anyone willing to meet their steep asking price of a first-round pick. Plenty of contenders are in need of pass rush help, but the big question is, are any of them willing to part with their first rounder for a potential half-year rental?

League sources say the Bengals are still asking for a first-round pick in any deal for Trey Hendrickson at this time.

Logan Wilson, LB, Cincinnati Bengals

Another Bengal who is on the trade block is Logan Wilson. The long-time Bengal asked for a trade in late October, and after the Bengals’ embarrassing loss this weekend, which all but eliminates them from playoff contention, they could part with the veteran linebacker.

Jaylen Waddle, WR, Miami Dolphins

Jaylen Waddle’s name has been floated around in trade talks quite often this season, and it feels more and more likely that he’s going to be dealt before the deadline. The Miami Dolphins are not a good football team, and it feels like a matter of time before they part ways with Mike McDaniel. There are a lot of teams looking to beef up their receiving core, so Waddle could fetch a good price.

Mikah Fitzpatrick, S, Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins made it clear to other teams that they are open to dealing former Pro Bowl safety Minkah Fitzpatrick. This comes just days after they fired former GM Chris Grier in the middle of the season for his unwillingness to trade some of their star players. It seems like Miami is going to have a fire sale at the deadline.

Another Dolphin who could be dealt at the deadline is Bradley Chubb. The Dolphins just traded Jaelin Phillips earlier on Monday, and now they could look to move another one of their pass rushers. With Grier gone, the Dolphins are ready to ship all of their top talent away for future draft capital. Don’t be surprised if Matthew Judon is also a name that comes up.

Odds: 70 percent

Von Miller, OLB, Washington Commanders

After Sunday night’s embarrassing loss to the Seahawks and injuries to Jayden Daniels and Marshon Lattimore, the Washington Commanders could look to sell some of their veteran players at the deadline. If they decide to do so, expect Von Miller to be available. Miller is past his prime, but he is still a very efficient pass rusher. He wouldn’t cost a whole lot and would help a contender improve their pass rush.

The Buffalo Bills have reportedly reached out to the New Orleans Saints about the availability of Chris Olave. So far, everyone’s been met with resistance. The Saints want to keep Olave around long-term, but that hasn’t stopped teams from reaching out. He could become available for the right price, but it appears if any Saints wideout is to be dealt, it’ll be Rashid Shaheed.

Odds: 20 percent

Brian Burns, DE, New York Giants

One name to watch at the deadline is Brian Burns. The New York Giants have a ton of depth on their defensive line, but need to get some future draft capital to plug other holes. Abdul Carter and Kayvon Thibodeaux are the future of the Giants’ defensive line, so if they move anybody up front, it’s likely going to be Burns. The Giants could likely bring in quite the haul for Burns, so if they decide to sell at the deadline, don’t be surprised if Burns is moving to a new team.

Evan Neal, OT, New York Giants

It’s time for the Giants and Evan Neal to split. The former first-round pick has not panned out in New York, and there are plenty of contenders out there who need help on their offensive line. Neal has played right tackle for most of his career, but is listed as a guard in 2025, though he hasn’t played a single snap. He’s a versatile lineman that could benefit from a change of scenery.
