John Harbaugh has done everything for the Ravens in his life. In 17 seasons as their head coach, he took them to the playoffs in 12 seasons. In 2018, he drafted Lamar Jackson. Together, they aspired to replicate the Belichick-Brady dynasty, with limited success. They won games, reaching the playoffs 6 out of 7 seasons, but a championship has eluded them as a duo.

NFL reporter John Frascella revealed their dominance on May 11 in the AFC Power Rankings with the Ravens occupying the top spot. However, he wants more reinforcements to make them a Super Bowl contender. While the head coach has won the Super Bowl XLVII in the 2012 season, the QB is still waiting for a trophy.

Even after the draft, they are looking for player to upgrade their roster. They also need power in defense. The former Panthers LB Jadeveon Clowney played the 2023 season with the Ravens. In 17 games (15 starters) that year, he recorded his career-best 9.5 sacks and 43 tackles (24 solo). Later in the season, the head coach said, “He’s played really well. He’s fits what we’re doing well and plays hard. I’m glad he’s here.

According to Frascella, the Ravens liking for the linebacker is now picking traction. The LB has earned more than $98 million in his 11-year career so far. However, the real question is, will they sign him again? The Panthers released him on May 8. In 2023, he signed a 1-year contract with the AFC North franchise.

John Harbaugh kept praising him throughout the season. “We’ve been playing against him all these years. I’ve always admired the way he plays,” he said while praising him mid-season in 2023. But when the time came to retain him, they backed off. Even this year, many other teams are interested in him, and the Cardinals and Seahawks are a few of them.

Over his NFL career, Clowney has logged 409 tackles and 58 sacks. But the coach is excited about something else. His current QB’s alternative career. Even the fans are getting crazy.

John Harbaugh is excited about his QB’s acting debut

Lamar Jackson made his acting debut on May 9 in an episode of Power Book III: Raising Kanan on Starz. He’s suddenly eyeing a second career in Hollywood. That’s a path taken by many NFL stars before. Tom Brady is a TV force, while Travis Kelce also made his TV debut last year. The franchise is buzzing with positive reviews about their QB’s debut, and Harbaugh is also excited to see his major player in a new avatar.

Before the episode aired, John Harbaugh praised his QB and said, “I am looking forward to it. You know, that facial expression in that clip, I’ve seen that look before. He’s looked at me that way a couple of times. It’s a tough look right there.” But the HC then explained why the player aspired to become a star. “He’s got the face of an actor, man. We just don’t need him to get too excited about the acting too early; let’s finish the football first. But I know he feels that way,” he finished while hyping up his leader to put his plans for becoming a Hollywood legend on hold for some years.

Lamar Jackson has a long way to go. Before going any further into the acting world, he will need to win at least one Super Bowl. That’s the only way he can cement his legacy among the Ravens flock.
