NFL Drops Final Bombshell on Shedeur Sanders’ Draft After Insider Confirms Kellen Moore & Saints’ R2 Intentions

We know one guy who’s not happy with his draft night. It’s Shedeur Sanders. It’s been weeks of wondering where he’d go in the draft, in what round, and what pick. Picks after picks were called, and Shedeur waited for his name. The wait didn’t end with the night. 32 players picked. Not one team showed interest in Coach Prime’s son. “Under no circumstances did we all know this was going to happen, but we understand we on to bigger and better things,” Sanders said after how the night turned out. “Tomorrow’s the day,” he added. Spoiler alert: It might not be so.

All the teams that were predicted to pick Sanders in the first rounds have bailed on him. The Steelers have proceeded with Derrick Harmon. The Giants, too, went with Jaxson Dart. When the team traded places and got the 25th pick, many thought it’d be Shedeur Sanders. Instead, Dart became the second QB off the board in the first round. But now that Round 1 has taken some names off the list, there could be some space for Sanders. The NFL shared on their Instagram page a list of potential offensive players for Round 2. Sanders is predicted to go as pick No. 67 to the Browns, as part of an “offensive trio.” Then, there are the Saints’ links.

However, the New Orleans Saints, who have yet to pick a quarterback, do not seem very interested in the whole idea in the first place. Lindsey Thiry reported. “The Saints’ mindset going into this quarterback search is that they might not have a franchise quarterback available to pick. But they know that Kellen Moore can sometimes do more with less.“

She also firmly said, “No, I do not expect for the Saints, based on conversations I’m having right now, to select Shedeur Sanders.” It just isn’t getting easy for him in the draft. Now that he has missed out on being a Round 1 pick, what else is in store for the Colorado QB?
