Given that we probably aren't moving on to the next series of hardware for some time to come yet, there's no reason we can't upgrade our current setups with some new designs. Happily, all the major manufacturers have been obliging with some cool designs, and more of those are emerging all the time. Xbox have arguably been leading the way on that front, with their 25th anniversary range bringing back the green see-through plastic of old across a ton of different items. They also have upcoming hardware releases for Gears of War and other games, while PlayStation has lagged behind a little in recent months.
