After years of development, a new Masters of the Universe movie is finally on its way, bringing with it big names and enthusiasm. The long-awaited live-action adaptation of Mattel's iconic toy line and animated series has officially moved forward with director Travis Knight at the helm. Netflix originally had the rights, but the project has since landed at Amazon MGM Studios and is expected to release in 2026.
