As Grey's Anatomy returns next month, the question on everyone's mind is: who survived the explosion that rocked Grey Sloan Memorial in the Season 21 finale? "We clearly saw Link (Chris Carmack) in immediate danger. We'll just have to see whether Link makes it through this explosion..." showrunner Meg Marinis said in an interview while previewing the upcoming season. Everyone is concerned that Link, among other doctors and staff, may have fallen victim to the massive explosion. Images from the season premiere do nothing to counter that fact, as several characters are featured returning to work, but notable absences include Link, Miranda (Chandra Wilson), and Ben (Jason George). The logline for Grey's Anatomy Season 22, Episode 1, "Only the Strong to Survive," reads:
