FOODIES are going wild as luxe chocolates are slashed down to an ‘absolute bargain’ price.
So if you’ve got a sweet tooth and are looking to save cash on your food shop, then you’ve come to the right place.

Thanks to a brilliant yellow sticker deal at Tesco, bargain hunters can now nab boxes of Ferrero Rocher chocolates for less than £2 – yes, you heard that correctly.
The popular chocolates contain a whole hazelnut surrounded by delicious layers of crispy wafer and have a velvety filling with smooth milk chocolate and finely chopped hazelnut pieces.
The 200g boxes, which contain 16 pieces, are normally priced at £7 but are now scanning for just £1.75.
One savvy shopper was left stunned when he saw the epic discount and eagerly flocked to social media to alert others, leaving many gobsmacked.
Posting on Yellow sticker shopping tips, tricks and hauls, a private Facebook group with 238,800 members, Matthew Dawes, 41, uploaded a snap of his finds.
Clearly beaming at the £5.25 discount, Matthew stocked up and bought three packs of the delicious chocolates.
Alongside a picture of his delicious haul, the Tesco shopper shared a simple conversation he had with his wife, just moments before finding the reduced treat.
He wrote: “Me: Shall I go to little Tesco, see if they have anything nice for pudding?”
To this, Matthew’s wife responded: “Can do but I doubt you’ll find anything.”
But upon finding the discounted chocolate, Matthew joked and replied: “Hold my beer.”
Matthew was buzzing to find the Ferrero Rocher chocolates for such a reduced price and claimed that it is the first time he has even seen them discounted.
It’s clear that Matthew’s post has impressed many others too, as it has quickly amassed over 200 likes and 35 comments.
How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…
Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.
Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
Foodies beam
Foodies raced to the comments to share their thoughts on the reduced treat, with many stunned to see them slashed.
One person said: “Never in 42 years of living have I seen these ever reduced. Absolute bargain!”
Awesome bargains

Insider tip from a Tesco employee
A Tesco employee has revealed a surprising secret about the self-scan trolleys.
According to the worker, random checks on customers using these trolleys are not entirely random.
The checks are actually triggered by a specific customer habit.
If you frequently pick up and put down items without scanning them, you’re more likely to be selected for a check.
This is due to the system detecting suspicious behaviour, which could indicate potential theft.
So, to avoid delays, it’s best to scan items immediately after placing them in your trolley.
