Neuroheadz and EATBRAIN Join Forces on Landmark Collaborative EP

1 month ago 14

Neuroheadz x EATBRAIN brings together a relentless selection of dancefloor heaters from legendary mainstays including Mob Tactics, Symplex, enta, Overtune, and PRDK.

Neuroheadz and EATBRAIN prove that high-energy rave intensity and aggressive, tech-driven neurofunk are a natural match. These two creative powerhouses have now joined forces for a collaborative EP, aptly titled Neuroheadz x EATBRAIN. The release delivers a 50/50 showcase of both labels, bringing together a vibrant lineup of artists that highlights each imprint’s distinct strengths and sonic identity.

Beyond the collaboration itself, the EP marks a major milestone for Neuroheadz with its first-ever production, “Burn The Witch,” co-produced by the Neuroheadz crew and UK artist Exult. The track spins a medieval tale of witch trials into a dark, dynamic soundscape, weaving snappy drum patterns, atmospheric builds, distorted energy, and gritty analog basslines into a truly cinematic neurofunk experience.

Every track on the EP brings something distinctive to the table. Mob Tactics delivers the massive broken-beat bassline of “Wild Bill,” while enta takes things into darker territory with the moody, tension-filled “Slippery Slope.” Overtune brings frenetic energy and chopped-up vocals to “Bass Vibration,” while Symplex delivers classic neurofunk aggression on “Microphone Killah.”

Then, there’s PRDK‘s “CRY.” Opening with the beauty and restraint of a ballad, the track gradually transforms into a high-intensity assault of explosive percussion and relentless momentum, closing out the EP as a high-velocity dancefloor finisher.

The release lands alongside a massive celebration at Lakota in Bristol on Saturday, September 12, marking both this landmark collaboration and EATBRAIN’s 15th anniversary. Expect pure chaos from start to finish, with an EATBRAIN six-deck Carnage set, a Neuroheadz live performance, and plenty more heavy-hitting acts joining the lineup for an unforgettable night,
