Netflix's 'Silo' Replacement Thrives Less Than a Week After Release

Apple TV+ has carved a niche adapting books into amazing TV shows. Silo is one in a strong lineup of sci-fi thrillers found on the platform. As the name suggests, the drama series is set inside a silo after the world becomes uninhabitable. Rated at 90% on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, Silo was a critical success. The same cannot be said of Netflix's new drama with a similar vibe to Silo called Billionaires' Bunker. In the Spanish drama series rated 20% on Rotten Tomatoes, a group of the ultrarich try to survive a perceived apocalypse, but long-simmering tensions threaten to wipe them out. Despite receiving a poor reception from critics and viewers (55%), Billionaires' Bunker is one of the most-watched shows on the streamer, rising to the top two among all new and old shows.
