Who knew that the ice hockey rink was the perfect setting for a must-watch romance? Well, clearly HBO and Prime Video did, as they both released Heated Rivalryand Off Campus, respectively, in the past twelve months. Both of these ice hockey-set romance adaptations have smashed streaming expectations and become huge hits with young adult audiences. The former earned an average of 10.6 million viewers per episode on HBO Max, and the latter became Prime Video's third most-watched series launch of all time, behind The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Fallout.
