Having experienced tremendous success in recent months with mid-budget tentpoles, Netflix is hoping to keep the streak going with this week's new release. The streamer pivoted away from mega-budget films such as The Electric State, Red Notice, and 6 Underground, and has recently been focusing on smaller-scale projects. This year alone, Netflix has delivered several movies — this list includes Apex, Thrash, and The Rip — that have generated more than 100 million views. The sci-fi action movie War Machine, starringAlan Ritchson, has emerged as one of the streamer's all-time hits with more than 150 million views.
