Netflix’s ‘Knives Out’ Replacement Towers Over Streaming Competition

Hot off the success of KPop Demon Hunters, the animated breakout that has emerged as Netflix's biggest hit ever, the streamer might just have a new franchise on its hands. It's still unclear whether director Rian Johnson has further Knives Out mysteries planned beyond the upcoming third installment, but, in case he doesn't, Netflix can now count on more follow-ups to this week's The Thursday Murder Club. Based on the best-selling book by Richard Osman, the movie immediately jumped to the top of Netflix's viewership charts, dethroning KPop Demon Hunters from the number one spot.
