Sydney Sweeney has quietly become one of the biggest stars in the world, and the success of her most recent film proved that. Sweeney recently starred opposite Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar in The Housemaid, which grossed over $400 million at the box office. Sweeney is also due to star in a sequel to the film, which will be out in theaters at Christmas in 2027. Sweeney also has plenty of other projects on the horizon, though, including a Gundam adaptation that’s expected to be released sometime next year. Netflix has recruited a stacked ensemble to star alongside Sweeney in the film, including Jason Isaacs, Noah Centineo, Nonso Anozie, Shioli Kutsuna, and Michael Mando. Jim Mickle is directing the film from a script he wrote.
