Of all the HBO shows that have captured the cultural zeitgeist over the years, Entourage has aged perhaps the most poorly. Based on star (and the show's executive producer) Mark Wahlberg's early life in Hollywood, the comedy-drama ran for eight seasons from 2004 to 2011, and then spawned a spin-off movie that performed disappointingly at the box office. The Entourage model hasn't been easy to emulate; several attempts were made by theCall My Agentfranchise, but they've been hit or miss. One of the franchise's spin-offs was set in the world of Bollywood, but that show lasted just one season. However, Netflix is taking a second crack at the idea, and the effort seems to be paying off this time.
