Anya Taylor-Joy is on top of the world right now after the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which was the first feature film of 2026 to reach $1 billion at the global box office. Other movies such as Michael, Toy Story, The Odyssey, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day have also reached the milestone. Taylor-Joy can also be seen on Apple TV starring in one of the most underrated crime thrillers of the year, Lucky, with Timothy Olyphant. Later this year, she’s confirmed to return and reprise her role as Alia Atreides in Dune: Part Three, which opens in theaters on December 18. Her wacky thriller with Chris Evans, Sacrifice, has been acquired by Netflix for release later this year — safe to say ATJ is as booked and busy as any star in 2026.
