Featuring a brutal tale of revenge, ProbablyMonsters’ upcoming action-adventure title Nekome: Nazi Hunter will enlist players in the lucrative Nazi-killing business – and business is booming!

We recently experienced its symphony of violence at GDC 2026 past week – see what grindhouse action awaits with our preview…

Nekome: Nazi Hunter Preview –  A Grindhouse Symphony of Violence!

A third-person adventure presented through a narrow and human lens, the world of Nekome: Nazi Hunter is one firmly grounded in terra firma.

Incredibly violent and powerful, sure, but still grounded nonetheless.

On that note, Nekome: Nazi Hunter’s protagonist Vano Nastasu is rife with grief. After his family was murdered by the Nazis during World War II, he channels that grief into vengeance by taking things into his own hands.

It is mentioned in the title, after all.

However, Vano Nastasu is far from invincible – and Nekome: Nazi Hunter makes sure players are well aware of this fact.

Don’t mistake this lack of invincibity for weakness, however.

Rather, Nekome: Nazi Hunter gives players the power they need by tasking them with carefully planning out each one of Vano’s different actions across its equally carefully crafted world.

Every step counts. Scout patrols, set traps, and strike with precision. In Nekome: Nazi Hunter, fear is a weapon – enemies panic, hesitate, or flee under your calculated brutality 🔪

In a gaming landscape susceptible to the dreaded yellow paint syndrome (we’re allergic to it at this point), Nekome: Nazi Hunter respects the player by providing the weaponry, pathways, and opportunities to succeed.

And kill Nazis.

Whether one zeroes in on that deadly sniper, wields the proper tool for the perfect prison escape, or strikes the fear of god in a three-on-one fight (there’s even a chicken icon!), Nekome: Nazi Hunter – and its suite of factors – respects the player.

However, Nekome: Nazi Hunter also keeps things grounded with its setting.

Vano Nastasu may not have a BFG9000 in his arsenal – the Doom Slayer already laid claim to that back in the 90s.

Combat in Nekome is brutal and deliberate. Adapt to enemies who fight back, use improvised weapons, and chain precise strikes into devastating finishing blows. Every encounter is a fight for survival 🔪

Rather, combat in Nekome: Nazi Hunter is brutal and deliberate.

Carefully planning out finishers and knowing when to be sneaky – and when to go all-in – easily means the between life and death for our Vano Nastasu.

As players scout out enemy routes and carefully plan out one’s assault, they’ll find a flow in Nekome: Nazi Hunter all their own.

Truly respecting the player, Nekome: Nazi Hunter’s symphony of violence lets players even the odds as they play their way and ultimately exact the revenge they so rightfully deserve.

Nekome: Nazi Hunter will release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
