Neagley Season 2’s Latest Update Is Great News for Reacher Fans

Neagley Season 2 just received an exciting update. The Reacher spin-off has performed strongly since arriving on Amazon Prime Video. Now, co-creator Nicholas Wootton has revealed that Season 2 is already mapped out.

Neagley’s executive producer explains where Season 2 currently stands

Neagley recently arrived on Amazon Prime Video earlier this month and quickly climbed the streaming charts. The series reached number one on Amazon Prime Video’s U.S. streaming chart. The spin-off even ranked ahead of Reacher. The flagship series recently returned with its fourth season in August.

The strong response has now been followed by an important Season 2 update. Nicholas Wootton, co-creator and executive producer of Neagley, confirmed that the story for a potential second season is already written.

Speaking with ScreenRant, Wootton discussed the progress of Season 2. He said, “Finished.” When asked about Season 2, he added, “Yeah, very nice. Oh yeah. Wrapped. Wrapped for once in a while.”

Wootton also confirmed that the team has already worked out the season. “And yeah, sort of awaiting, awaiting the green light. So we’ll see. We will see, yeah, sometime hopefully soon. Green light or not? I mean, green light. There you go. Green lights. Yeah, waiting. Awaiting that, yeah, so we have it broken. We had it written. We’re, we’re just awaiting the word.”

That means the creative work for Season 2 is already in place. The only major step remaining is an official renewal decision. Neagley follows Frances Neagley, a private investigator and former Army member.

The spin-off has quickly established itself among Reacher fans. Its strong streaming performance has also drawn more attention. With Wootton confirming that Season 2 is already written, the next major step is Amazon’s decision.

Fans will now have to wait for the official green light before Neagley Season 2 moves forward.
