NCIS: Tony & Ziva Trailer Teases Crimefighting Duo’s Latest Adventure

NCIS: Tony & Ziva is back in the spotlight after Paramount+ released the first trailer for the much-awaited NCIS spinoff. The footage features Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo returning as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, respectively. The two now live apart but reunite to protect their daughter from a new threat.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva trailer sees the couple fighting bad guys to rescue their daughter

Paramount+ recently released the first official trailer for NCIS: Tony & Ziva, the 10-episode spinoff series starring Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo.

The trailer suggests that Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David are no longer together. Ziva appears to be in therapy and refers to her relationship with Tony as “on again, maybe again, kind of again, and where we are now.”

Despite the uncertainty, Tony and Ziva reunite to rescue their daughter, Tali, after an attack on Tony’s security company. “Someone I trust did this. I don’t know how they targeted Tali,” Tony tells Ziva. In response, Ziva asks, “What are we going to do?” Tony answers, “Do you still keep all that deadly stuff in your cookie jars?” In another scene, he says, “Tali couldn’t ask for a better mother, and I couldn’t ask for a better… safe house roomie.”

The trailer shows the couple on the run across Europe, confronting enemies and unresolved feelings. Ziva asks, “So what we’re depending on to save all of these lives is me being charmingly persuasive and you kicking ass?” Tony responds, “Not ideal, but here we are.”

The series takes place after Ziva’s faked death and her eventual reunion with Tony and Tali in Paris. Cast members include Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Julian Ovenden, Nassima Benchicou, Lara Rossi, Isla Gie, Terence Maynard, and James D’Arcy.

John McNamara is the showrunner, with executive producers Cote de Pablo, Weatherly, Laurie Lieser, Christina Strain, and Shelley Meals. The show is scheduled to premiere this fall on Paramount+.
