-NBC recently cancelled 5 shows: Lopez vs. Lopez, Night Court, Found, The Irrational and Suits LA. (Grosse Pointe Garden Society‘s is currently TBD but lbr....likely cancelled)

-Now NBC is talking about the 'whys' of cancelling so many shows and for the most it all boils to one thing: basketball.

-NBC had signed New TV Rights Deal With NBC which meant that they had to free up 7 hrs of programming as it will take up tuesday and Sunday nights.

-When it came to Suits specifically, they had high hopes but the audience just didnt show up like they had expected they would and they didn't foresee the show growing its audience.

-They discussed potentially moving some shows to Peacock exclusives but ultimately decided against it. They have largely unloaded their "exclusive" shows (they used to be the exclusive home to RHOM, BD:DU, Queens Court but all went back to bravo full time)

I realized today that abbott elementary is the ONLY prime time network tv show that I still watch....
