It was recently announced that director and producer Peter Berg has made a new deal with Netflix, which means that American Primevalmay get the renewal audiences have been eagerly waiting for. At the start of 2025, American Primeval premiered on Netflix with a quick positive reception. The Western series is set in 1857 Utah, where a mother and son are trying to escape from their old life as a war rages on between the Mormon Church and Utah settlers. Despite gaining a number of dedicated fans, Netflix has yet to confirm whether American Primeval will get another season.
