MrBeast’s Beast Games Season 2 & 3 Renewed by Prime Video

Prime Video has renewed MrBeast’s Beast Games for Seasons 2 and 3. The renewal has come three months after Season 1 finished airing. Although the inaugural season received largely poor responses from critics, audience’s reactions were much more positive. The series reportedly had the second biggest debut of 2024 (behind Fallout), drawing in about 50 million viewers from across the globe.

MrBeast hypes up Beast Games Season 2 and 3 after renewal

Amazon’s Prime Video recently announced that they have greenlit Seasons 2 and 3 of Beast Games. This prompted series co-creator MrBeast, whose legal name is Jimmy Donaldson, to take to X (previously, Twitter) and confirm the news. “Prime Video has renewed Beast Games for not one but two more seasons!! Y’all are not ready for the big stuff we have planned,” he shared.

The first season of the reality competition series premiered on December 19, 2024. The first two episodes began streaming together, and the rest came out weekly. Season 1 finale dropped on February 13, 2025.

Jeffrey Randall Allen, aka Player 831, eventually emerged as the winner in Season 1 out of 1,000 initial contestants and received the $10 million cash prize. The series broke an astounding 44 Guinness World Records during the production of the first season. This includes the record for the largest prize fund awarded for a competitive reality TV show. The first season had a reported budget of over $100 million.

After MrBeast shared the news on X, a fellow user asked him in the comments section how he was planning to go bigger without going bankrupt. They added, “Didn’t you lose $20+ million on the last season? Law of diminishing returns with attention for season 2.”

In response, MrBeast declared that “going bigger” was his specialty. He added, “That’s the least of my concerns haha. Yeah ideally don’t lose 8 figures though.”
