Capcom went over the Monster Hunter Wilds FFXIV crossover coming to to the game as part of Title Update 3, and it confirmed the collaboration will include Dark Knight and Pictomancer Job appearances as well as other confirmed elements like Omega Planetes during its TGS 2025 showcase. It will arrive on September 29, 2025. That will be followed by Arch-tempered Nu Udra, with new equipment, on October 22, 2025, then the Festival of Accord: Dreamspell between October 22-November 12, 2025. Gogmazios will be the new monster added in Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4 in December 2025.
The Monster Hunter Wilds portion began with discussing how to unlock the FFXIV crossover. It is available after you hit HR 41 and finish “What Lies Ahead.” You can then take on the new mission with a themed story and Omega Planetes hunt. Alpha and Omega will be two characters who show up during it, with the Chocobo appearing alongside Alma at key parts and in the key art. Once you get into it, the FFXIV Jobs Dark Knight and Pictomancer will be in Monster Hunter Wilds. Dark Knight uses a two-handed sword, wears the Bale Armor a set with The Blackest Night set bonus skill unique action, and can use a Shadowbringer Great Sword with a weapon skill. The Pictomancer involves a Soul of the Pictomancer in an Item Pouch to use spells like Pom Motif, Wing Motif, and Mog of the Ages. A Palico can wear a Morbol Minion outfit, while a Seikret can dress as a Chocobo with equipment. There will be pendants and gestures too.

Monster Hunter Wilds is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and free Title Update 3 will add the FFXIV crossover on September 29, 2025. A similar crossover will also appear in the MMORPG.
