How do you think a matchup between Conor McGregor and Eddie Hall would proceed? Will David be able to defeat Goliath? Or will it be the other way around? Well, as hilarious as it may sound, the former strongest man in the world has indeed expressed his desire to fight ‘Mystic Mac’ for a bout. And that’s what we’ll see in today’s episode of MMA News Roundup.

And after that, we’ll grieve with Carlos Prates after his loss against Ian Machado Garry. And finally, we’ll find out some unknown details about the relationship between Georges St-Pierre and Dana White. So, without any further ado, let’s get right into it.

Eddie Hall wants to fight Conor McGregor

Hall recently amazed the entire fighting community with his win over Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105. Talking about his new hitlist, the former strongest man alive painted a target on Conor McGregor. He said, “I would love to fight Conor McGregor. I think the weight difference would be absolutely comical. There is weight classes for that reason. It would be dangerous, on Conor’s behalf.”

The size difference between Hall and McGregor is comical indeed. After all, the strongman is at least 100 pounds bigger than the former UFC double champion. Needless to say, the fight isn’t likely to happen. But the dream is surely hilarious. Apart from ‘The Notorious’, Hall named a few more fighters. The list also included Brock Lesnar. On top of that, Hall claimed that he wanted to go handicapped against Jake Paul and Logan Paul in a 2v1 bout.

Let’s leave Hall to celebrate his victory in his first-ever mixed martial arts bout and dream about his future in the sport. In the meantime, let’s look at the aftermath of UFC Kansas City. Apparently, the main event has left Prates with a shattered heart.

Carlos Prates expresses his sorrow after losing to Ian Garry

The welterweight bout at UFC Kansas City’s main event witnessed Ian Garry absolutely dominating the Fighting Nerd. This was indeed an outcome that ‘The Nightmare’ hadn’t really experienced for a really long time. And UFC Kansas City was the perfect eye-opener for the Brazilian. Weighing in on the defeat, he said, “Six years without losing, I had forgotten how much it hurts, how it hurts the heart, the soul.”

Of course, Prates was proud of his 11-fight win streak, coming to the Octagon to fight Garry. But the bout made him realize that he still had quite some work left to do. Nevertheless, he still remains at the 13th spot in the welterweight rankings, which means that we can certainly expect him to rise up again.

Georges St-Pierre shares details about his relationship with Dana White

Talking to Ariel Helwani on his YouTube talk show, St-Pierre revealed that he had a pretty good relationship with the UFC head honcho. They’re good friends. However, there was a funny aspect to their friendship. ‘Rush’ said, “We talk about stuff that we could not talk [about] before. Like stuff that I was thinking during negotiations, and what he was thinking was going on. It’s funny. We have a funny relationship, and I love Dana. He’s a good guy, and he gave me a device that helps with sleep — he sent it in my house, something that costs a lot of money. It sends your body frequency and it helps you sleep, and it’s amazing. I have a great relationship with Dana and I like him.”
