Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning kicked off its theatrical run this weekend with a $64 million domestic opening, and it followed that up with a strong $15 million on Memorial Day weekend. At the time of writing, the film currently sits at $79 million domestically and $127 million from international markets for a worldwide total of $206 million. Although still well below Lilo & Stitch, Tom Cruise’s new action thriller has now passed Constantine, the 2005 superhero horror film led by Keanu Reeves, at the domestic box office. Constantine grossed $75 million at the domestic box office, which adjusts to around $123 million when accounting for inflation.
