Misfits Boxing 22 is proving to be far from controversy-free. Launched in August 2022 by British YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI, his manager Mams Taylor, and promoters Kalle and Nisse Sauerland, the league was designed to inject new energy into boxing by blending celebrity and influencer matchups with traditional bouts, thereby creating an entertainment-driven spectacle aimed at younger audiences.

However, today inside Manchester Arena, tensions flared. Misfits Boxing 22 kicked off at noon with the headliner between Darren Till and Luke Rockhold, with prelims now wrapped up and the main card currently underway. Notably, the heavyweight clash between Chase DeMoor and Natan Marcon quickly grabbed attention, sparking debate.

In the second round at 0:53, DeMoor landed a decisive uppercut that split Marcon’s lip, which consequently forced the doctor and officials to stop the fight and award a TKO victory.
