The unranked Virginia held on in the double overtime to steal a win from FSU, denting their place in the ACC. Mike Norvell will have to do some cleanup after that upset loss. If they’d won this game, he might not have had to lose out to Alabama for a key honor. FSU fans are clearly not pleased.
College GameDay will be travelling to Tuscaloosa for the high-stakes Alabama-Vanderbilt clash next week, ESPN announced on X. FSU fans unleashed their anger for this loss as well, which was brought on after the embarrassing defeat to Virginia. FSU’s rivalry game with Miami is easily one of the most anticipated by fans of both programs. But College GameDay will still be giving them a miss. The show has not been to Tallahassee since its last trip in 2014.

“Lmao FSU blew gameday. I will say it’s wild to give it to the team FSU beat instead but hilarious all the same,” one fan commented, focusing on how ironic this situation is. “Thanks for nothing @FSUFootball. U guys had one job!!!” one fan wrote, clearly displeased about the snub. “All FSU had to do was not lose to UVA, then GameDay would be there,” another wrote, summing up the outrage from FSU fans at Norvell.
