Jordan, who was already one of the biggest stars in the world thanks to his villainous role as Killmonger in the first Black Panther movie. In 2025, Jordan reunited with his long-time director and friend Ryan Coogler for the vampire horror sensation, Sinners, which grossed over $370 million at the box office to become one of the highest-grossing original films of all time. Jordan even won the Oscar for Best Lead Actor for his dual performance as Smoke and Stack in the film, even beating the likes of Timothée Chalamet in Marty Supreme and Leonardo DiCaprio in One Battle After Another. Jordan is also attached to lead new projects like The Thomas Crown Affair and The Fifth Wing.
