Even with just days to go before the regular season kickoff, the contract drama around Micah Parsons still rages on. The latest comes from Parsons’ agent, David Mulugheta, as he takes a swing at Jerry Jones. At one point, Jones noted that he and Parsons had agreed on a deal that would have made him the highest-paid non-QB player, but Mulugheta’s latest comments have shown what that deal could have been.

Speaking on First Take with Stephen A. Smith, Mulugheta noted, “The devil’s in the details.” He broke down the contract Micah Parsons currently has in Green Bay, and noted a whopping $60-70 million difference from the one Dallas had offered him. Jerry Jones may have wanted Micah out of the picture for Dallas, but on the other hand, stars like Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb had been in Parsons’ corner, hoping he gets the deal he wants. Dallas now has to navigate that crossroad as it finds itself without its defensive cornerstone.
