Met Office issues ice warning with more snow set to hit as cold Arctic air puts Britain in the freezer

Temperatures fell across Britain this morning to -4C (25F) in Glasgow, -1C (30F) in Belfast and Cardiff as well as in Staffordshire and Cumbria, while a Met Office ice warning was in place for northern England.
