I have a dear friend, Max, who sometimes I think he knows me better than I know myself.

When my family was dealing with health issues, Max sent me this message. “You have helped many people with your first book and Satan isn’t happy. He is waging a war on you. Rebuke him and claim your victory over everything. He only wants to steal and destroy your peace and joy. Wage the war of prayer warriors for your family.”

Later, when I was having trouble sleeping, I received this message from Max. “Could the sleep issues be Satan interrupting your sleep because of your next book? Are you casting him off before bed?”

Max’s text messages are always another train of thought that is good for me to consider. I hope you have a friend that does the same for you.

Thank you, God, for sending good friends into our lives to help us find our way when we are lost. Amen.
