There's a disturbance in the Schwartz today, as Spaceballs 2 just brought back another Spaceball commander. The long-awaited sequel to Mel Brooks's vaunted Star Wars parody has added George Wyner to the cast in his old station as Colonel Sandurz, the Grand Moff Tarkin to Dark Helmet's (Rick Moranis) Darth Vader. He's not the only new addition, as Anthony Carrigan, fresh off joining the Justice Gang in James Gunn's Superman and hosting the Twisted Metal tournament in Season 2, will also be coming aboard in an unknown role. They'll join returning stars Bill Pullman, Daphne Zuniga, Moranis, and Brooks, as well as newcomers Lewis Pullman, Keke Palmer, and the sequel's co-writer, Josh Gad. Accompanying the announcement was a photo of the entire team gathered at a table read, preparing for the humorous adventure.
