This May bank holiday weekend could be the perfect opportunity to do a DIY project or spruce up the garden.
Thankfully – unlike over Easter – most major DIY stores across the UK will still be open this weekend if you need supplies.
However, some may have restricted hours, and the delivery service timings may be different.
Here, we take a look at the opening times this bank holiday for B&Q, Wickes, Screwfix, and the Range, which has taken over several Homebase stores.
When is B&Q open this bank holiday weekend?
B&Q stores will be open as normal across the UK this bank holiday weekend.

Most Screwfix stores will be open this bank holiday weekend.
However, the following bank holiday restrictions apply this bank holiday Monday including:
Nottingham Bulwell – 8am – 6pm Erith 8.30am – 4.30pm Brentford, Clitheroe Barrow, North Walsham 9am – 4pm Ringwood, Ilford, Hornchurch – 10am – 4pmThe chain will continue to offer its delivery service to stores, sites and homes.

When are The Range and Homebase stores open this bank holiday?
Most Homebase stores have now closed or been taken over by The Range.
Several Range stores have Homebase garden centres, however, and a few sell Homebase kitchens. They also sell non-Homebase branded DIY products.
The Range outlets should all be open as usual this weekend, but it’s worth checking the chain’s store finder for details on your closest shop.
When are Wickes stores open this bank holiday weekend?
Wickes is open as normal in all stores across the UK, the retailer has confirmed.
Normal opening hours for Mondays are 7am to 8pm.
