Mavericks announce selection of Duke legend Cooper Flagg in bold, premature 'Welcome' post

The Dallas Mavericks appeared to jump the gun by posting a "Welcome to Dallas" graphic featuring Duke standout Cooper Flagg more than a week before the NBA Draft. The image, which showed Flagg in a Mavs jersey, was quickly removed from the team’s official website. While Dallas holds the No. 1 pick and is expected to select Flagg, the early post isn't common.
