Marvel’s group of scrappy superheroes, aka the Thunderbolts*, are winning over fans worldwide. The Jake Schreier-directed movie marked a creative turn in the MCU, which was going through a hard time with multiple movies failing with audiences. While Thunderbolts* didn’t win big at the box office, it certainly won fans’ hearts, which was a great sign for the studios’ changing creative strategy behind the scenes.
