Marvel’s Most Infamous Cancelled Series Officially Resurfaces 9 Years Later

For all the Marvel projects that have taken flight through the superpower of the MCU, there are just as many that have remained grounded over the years. Most recently, the Mahershala Ali-led Blade movie was trapped in development hell until the two-time Oscar winner revealed in a recent profile that he had moved on from The Daywalker, effectively confirming it's not moving forward. Other previously developed titles, like Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, a Runaways movie, Iron Man 4, and various spin-offs, all similarly fell apart for one reason or another despite interest from Kevin Feige's studio. The small screen has also seen a fair few Marvel ideas cancelled, including a live-action Ghost Rider series at Hulu featuring Gabriel Luna that was one of the last remnants of Marvel Television.
